Sent in Application to adoption Agency - 2/18/09
Approval from agency - 2/27/09
Sent in agreements and 1st program fee- 3/4/09
Began "Paperchase", collecting Dossier documents - 3/13/09
First home study visit in northern Va -4/13/09
Physical for adoption - 4/17/09
Fingerprinting for USCIS in Norfolk - 4/23/09
Second home study visit -5/21/09
Third home study visit - 5/22/09
Sign off on home study - 6/2/09
Finalized home study arrived - 6/9/09
Final Dossier document arrived (I-171H) - 6/25/09
Dossier certification in Richmond and sent to agency- 6/26/09
Dossier taken to Rwandan embassy in DC by agency-7/1/09
Dossier leaves embassy and on its way to Rwanda - 7/14/09
Dossier arrives in Rwanda! - 7/17/09 (the last possible day before one document became too old!)
Dossier approved - 10/21/09
Received notification the dossier was approved - 11/28/09
Received first pic of our beautiful girl! - 11/30/09
Court date - 12/30/09
Passed court, Carington officially ours! - 1/8/10
Left for Rwanda at 3AM - 1/22/10
Met our baby!!! - 1/23/10 4:30PM Rwanda time
Arrived home - 2/7/10
